 GREGORY L. LIACOURAS
Practice Description
Greg is a co-founder of the firm. He concentrates his practice on civil litigation. He represents clients in a wide variety of business matters including business disputes involving health care issues, contract claims, provider reimbursement, civil rights claims, employment discrimination, insurance coverage issues, wrongful discharge, restrictive covenants, and use of confidential information and trade secrets. Greg also devotes a significant part of his practice to representing both plaintiffs and defendants in professional malpractice and personal injury cases. In addition, Greg serves as an arbitrator and mediator in numerous cases and venues.

Greg is admitted to practice by the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
Educational and Professional Background
Greg received his B.S. from Wake Forest University in 1987. From 1987 through 1995, he was a member of the New York Commodities Exchange, where he was a self-employed floor trader of gold and silver futures and options. Greg graduated in 1995 from the evening division of the Temple University School of Law, magna cum laude, and thereafter practiced law at the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP until 1998, when he left to form LIACOURAS & SMITH, LLP.
